    Quick pronunciation guide:

    “Č” is pronounced “Ch.”

    “Š” is pronounced “Sh.”

    “J” is pronounced “Y.”

    “Švejk” rhymes with “bake,” despite generations of non-Czechs prounouncing it as though it rhymed with “bike.”
