The column at that link told me enough about the individual in question 8 years ago.

Yup, that is a pretty revolting piece.

It’s hard for me to get too worked up about immigration debates between real libertarians, because the libertarian position is obvious and well-known. But is Vin here a real libertarian? Notice he brought up a hypothetical “Libertarian state” which is run as a democracy. Screw democracy, Vin.

He also mentioned something about some law being “constitutional.” Hey, screw that, too, Vin.

It’s sad. Vin was a great libertarian voice – when a Democrat sock-puppet played the President.

And as happened with many self-professed libertarians, 9/11 seemed to madden him and cause him to forsake his principles in favor of an iron-fisted government.

Why anybody ever believes that a government can brutalize and slaughter foreigners, and in the long run treat its own subjects any differently, bewilders me.

You know what I get real sick of reading about in Vin’s work? All this “we” crap. Just who the frack is “we,” anyway? I know no one asked me if I wanted any part of this entity he refers to as “we.” Collectivist much, Mr. Suprynowicz?

Be charitable: maybe he has lice. Or a tapeworm.
