      My inner child may not be reliable. I remember when I was around 12 and was on an airplane, with a big drawing pad in front of me. A stewardess came over and said, “ooh, what are you drawing?” Then she saw I was drawing a werewolf rampage titled “Bloodfest.”

      “Oh,” she said.

    This puts me in mind of an old Kids in the Hall sketch where Kevin McDonald’s character decides to grow a beard while on vacation. The beard is evil (really only mildly bizarre by that show’s standards) and takes over his mind, dominating his life and eventually driving him to his doom.
