There’s no reason that a society of mostly long-haired people in good physical shape and wearing minimal clothing (I suspect the latter since otherwise there would be less need for emphasis on the extras’ good physical shape) has to be culturally/technologically primitive, but in the world of tv sci-fi that’s the way to bet. The question is, are these some group that the colonists encounter on Earth — the remnants of the 13th tribe? Or are they instead the descendants of our protagonists, glimpsed in a flash-forward?
