I know this looks like the Eye of Sauron.
But it’s actually …
Well, see for yourself.
And then there’s this one, which looks even more like an eye (though not Sauron’s).

Ok off-topic, but Roderick, did you know about this? http://www.azete.com/preview/24204
People are charging money for that now? And $34.95? Not that I don’t think that the information and your authorship is priceless, I just didn’t think people were charging money for this.
Hey, thanks for telling me. I filled out their “report this as plagiarism” link.
Some idiot student is going to pay 34.95 for that piece when it’s available for free on the Mises site. Then they are going to submit it as coursework — and get caught for plagiarism because the prof will quickly suspect it’s plagiarised, and will easily be able to find the original. Hurray for karma.
And the wheel keeps turning
Also, you never got back to me about whether or not you’d be heading to the Austrian Scholars Conference this March. I was thinking about going, but I’m not so sure anymore.
I can’t help but feel some smug self-satisfaction since I already knew about the “Eye of Sauron” directing his ominous gaze across interstellar space to our little planet. Where’s a galactic ring-bearer when you need one?
The intergalactic ring bearer is right here of course.

Actually I did answer you, though only about five hours before you posted this reminder; see here.
Now that I know you’re going to be there it makes it harder to not show up. Hmm… will the SDS/MDS be meeting sometime in the future?
Oh and sometimes posts have a tendency to not show up at all here, or just show up too late and become seeds for double posting. I certainly didn’t see that new post of yours, though I refreshed the tab before I posted this last repeat of my (latest) question.
This website tends to linger longer in a browser’s cache than most other websites, that’s for sure.
