Many thanks are due to Roderick, who was asked to review the ms. for three different presses and somehow managed to find something nice to say each time.

For those overwhelmed by the list price, there’s good news: CUP has promised to release a paperback version within twelve months of the release of the hardback.

The 2nd and 3rd times involved a bit less work than the 1st.

Excellent! Something to sell at the 2014 Libertopia.

Well, the third, anyway. You may recall that the first and second were a bit different.

Interesting photo choice. The scene has a safe and “respectable” flavor to it.

    What city is that?

New York, around 1906. I liked this image because it suggested people cooperating peacefully and voluntarily in Leviathan’s absence.

This is by Wall st. Almost all of those buildings are still there. A few of the streets still have that cobble pavements as well. In the perspective of the picture the NYSE is on the left hand side, and the George Washington statue is straight ahead (obscured by the side of a building in the picture though).

What is the Greek temple building directly ahead?
