During his 15-year editorship of The Freeman, the Foundation for Economic Educations flagship publication, Sheldon Richman made that magazine far and away the best its ever been, turning it from a frequent defender of economic privilege and cultural intolerance into a force for truly radical free-market thinking.
But as of the end of next month, Sheldon will no longer be editor. Its the end of The Freemans golden age as far as Im concerned.
Sheldon is looking for a full-time editorial position with an online or paper publication.
Anyone know the reasons why?
I am finding it hard to say goodbye to editor-in-chief Sheldon Richman. I guess time never stops. Life goes on.
Is there a page on The Freeman where interested parties can purchase back issues?
I echo your remarks, Roderick.
Maybe Sheldon could have an expanded role at the Future of Freedom Foundation?
Even better(?) would be a position on TV. I think he is an excellent speaker.

“Exciting things are happening in Irvington/Atlanta. FEE will revitalize its efforts by focusing on introducing students (16-24) to free-market economics. The organization decided that someone else would be better suited to edit The Freeman under these circumstances.” –Sheldon Richman
