Roderick may, indeed, know why. I hope he does. I don’t, I fear, and neither does Matt. I was poking around this morning trying to figure out if I might have done anything to cause this result, and haven’t yet figured out if I have. Sorry about this.
Open the post for editing. Scroll down near the bottom to where it says “Discussion” and make sure “Allow Comments” is checked. If it is already checked, tell whomever is administering the site that something is wrong with that post.
“Allow comments” wasn’t checked initially, but I did check it once Matt made me aware of the problem. It didn’t seem to help. At his suggestion, I deleted and reposted–this seems to have fixed the comment problem.
