Yo Ho Guantanamo

I just got back from seeing Pirates of the Caribbean III – which was a lot of fun, despite the plot’s being a tangled mass of incoherences and loose ends.

On a less political note, did anyone notice Reggie Lee, the actor who plays the slithery Agent Kim on Prison Break, as one of Chow Yun-Fat’s henchmen here? His Wikipedia page says he was in the previous Pirates movie too, but I don’t remember him. He certainly stood out for me this time, though.

I suppose Wikipedia has become something of a shelling point…. On the other hand, however, I’ve discovered it’s more fun to read the Discussion page than the main article sometimes, as in some disputed articles.

I was thinking the same thing about the beginning of the movie. The State is shown shoveling bodies into the grave at a fast, mechanical and merciless pace; the British “lord” was more bloodthirsty than those he purportedly opposed.
