I’m not a fan of the automatically-dismissive approach to UFO sightings, but I have to say these pics don’t impress me at all. This thing looks like something assembled out of spare parts and hung on a wire. Okay, so if it really is where it appears to be in relation to the telephone pole, it’s bigger than most of the items used in such hoaxes; but it wouldn’t have to be very big.
I like the spork-shape as opposed to the classic frisbee style — and applaud the humans who conceived it. You know it’s going to turn out to be an advertisement for a new sci-fi show on TV . . . better be good!
To me it looks like a cross between a banjo and the Statue of Liberty’s helmet.
They look like something you would see in a steampunk film.
Some clever person or group of people cleaned out their kitchen gadget drawer, put them together, added batteries, and voila! It flys!
A rather old story in internets-time. The best part involves the anonymous insider “Isaac” leaking some beautifully done documents from some super-secret CARETS program. Lot’s of work for a simple LULZ.
