Hoist High the Jolly Roger Before the Pirates Can!
I love how they call this a defeat for piracy, rather than a victory.
Whats next? Bring the fight to the illegal immigrants by opening the borders thatll show em!
Uncape My Ride
What do Batman and Francisco dAnconia have in common?
Theyre both inspired by Zorro a daring crusader for justice who disguises himself as a rich, idle playboy. Plus Batman and Zorro both wear capes, while Rand describes dAnconia as looking as if he had a cape waving behind him in the wind.
So why are ads for the new Atlas Shrugged movie picking a fight with capes generally and Batman specifically?
(Im assuming its mainly Batman that they have in mind, since The Dark Knight Rises is the most recent movie to feature a caped hero; and most of the Avengers dont wear capes.)
Plus do they know that the characters in Atlas Shrugged are also not real?

Copyright Robots Turn Against Their Masters
The tv show that you produce and broadcast is up for some awards. Cool! So you provide the awards ceremony with clips from the nominated episodes. A great way to promote your show, right? Until copyright-enforcement programs shut down the presentation in order to, um, protect your copyrights. (CHT Jesse Walker.)
Wait, I think Ive seen this plot before. And on the very show that was nominated, in fact.
