Check out this amazing video of a gibbon fearlessly teasing two tigers. Admittedly theyre quite young tigers but still, theyre not itty bitty cubs or anything; they definitely surpass their tormentor in fangs, claws, and sheer mass. But in speed and agility not so much.
More than anything, I was reminded of ERBs stories of Tarzans boyhood (in books 1 and 6), where the young apeboy was always portrayed as doing this kind of thing.
Samantha and Endora
The universe of Bewitched is enough like that of Harry Potter to encourage the speculation that theyre the same universe (with all the differences being explained away by differences between European and American wizarding traditions).
Which raises the question: whose side was Endora on when Voldemort came back?
Disney has just acquired Marvel Comics. On the downside, two massive stocks of incredibly lucrative IP monopoly have now merged. On the upside, Quesada apparently thinks this will give Marvel more freedom, though I dont exactly see why.
(But hey, now if theres ever a merger between Disney and Time-Warner, then DC and Marvel would be owned by the same company. On the downside still more massive IP-sustained monopoly. On the upside: more crossovers, or even a fusion of universes. FWIW.)
