On the gloomier side – I wish the other Palin’s casual acceptance of the possible desirability of going to war with Russia were getting as much attention in the U.S. 
media as her daughter’s pregnancy and her pitbull’s lipstick. (Scotsman.com recognised that that was the main story coming out of the Charlie Gibson interview; but then no true Scotsman.com would fail to do so.)
In related news, McCain and Obama have each agreed to appoint the other, depending on the breaks, to the position of Service Czar. Whee! I wonder whether Barr will appoint a Freedom Czar.
