Vis-à-Vis Visas

Dangerous criminal Martha Stewart’s being denied a visa to enter Britain is insane for the obvious reasons, but the part that puzzles me is: since when do American citizens need a visa to enter Britain? Is the reference to “visa” just a reporter’s glitch?

    If its anything lke travelling from the UK to the US then you need a VISA if your stay is over 6 months (the US says 90 days), if you’re going to work (except if its a business trip) or if you have a criminal conviction (other than driving offense).

    I’m not sure what the UK actually requires, but I suspect this last one is in there.

    The most idiotic thing is that we’ve just allowed Mike Tyson in the country…

    It’s actually hilarious in a sad kind of way that leftists put so much faith in the state, yet this example shows the incentives are such that allied states would rather help each other than help the people they are supposedly serving.
