I have a new post up at BHL: Libertarians In Jackboots? It’s a reply to a piece by Michael Lind arguing that libertarians are apologists for autocracy.

I said this over at Radgeek’s and I’ll say it here, I’m becoming convinced that many, maybe a majority of the left statists who care enough about politics to discuss it frequently have the exact same type of mindset as young earth creationists. They approach our arguments the same way a young earth creationist approaches biological evolution. Lind’s screed is no different than some yahoo saying that people who believe in biological evolution support Nazism or some other nonsense. If there weren’t a whole bunch of people who take ideas like Lind’s seriously it wouldn’t be worth responding to them with anything other than mockery.
Kevin Carson on Lind.
