This story is a couple of years old, but I missed it the first time.
I read that book in senior year of high school; but I read it in French, and my French wasn’t that great at the time, so I don’t actually remember anything about it. But if it ticks off Sarko, it has my vote. (Well, unless that implies endorsing Dominique Strauss-Kahn ….)
Since you bring up the DSK issue, it broaches on a point not much discussed about anarcho-capitalism, which is that in the matter of sex crimes it would not be much different than under the state. Certainly random rapes on the street might be better since they might have super video recording technology in your fingernail and whatnot. But sex crimes and harassment between acquaintances will still be “he said, she said” cases, and unless Charles Johnson is going to argue that a free-market court always favors the woman in such cases (which I could perhaps see him attempting), it’s hard to see how justice could be effectively served, either in a statist or an anarchist system.
