I’m in the middle of a break at the ASC, finishing up some last-minute business at the office.
Tomorrow I’m off to anarchise in Prague, and will thus be largely (though probably not entirely) incommunibloggo until the 24th.
Whilst awaiting my return you can relieve the unbearable monotony by clicking on this pretty picture of Čertovka, a section of Prague on the Vltava’s west bank near the Karlův Bridge. I imagine the real thing looks a bit more wintry just now.

im studying in brno (2nd biggest city in czech republic) and if i knew before i would come to prague to see you (presumably on some kind of conference, or?), but right now im back home in slovakia..

Where is Roderick? In a Turkish Prison?
I’ve been wondering the same thing.
If he is in prison he has had internet access for at least a few minutes. He left a comment at Cheryl Cline’s blog earlier this week.
I’ve received a couple of terse emails from him regarding the site recently, but nothing about where he is or what he’s doing. I’m assuming he’s busy. There are no current post drafts, so he’s not preparing a bunch of unpublished posts or anything.
Well, the APEE conference starts on the 11th. Perhaps he’s in Vegas?
Thank God he is able to get some away time.
