Yeah, I've been working (intermittently) on a short (e.g. trifold size) intro to corporatism-versus-the-free-market. I'll post it for feedback once I have a draft.

lpa activists list: We need to take these insights and translate them into more digestible writings- and youtubes, soundbites, etc - which can make good fliers, bumperstickers, easily read blog posts, newspaper opeds, letters to the editor, press releases on current events, and so forth.

Some of them should be on our state party website; for example, see LPWV.org.

Loretta Nall did a lot of this in her run for governor; many liberal to far left (in the conventional sense) folks I know tell me they voted for her, although their votes could not have counted (for that matter, I've met random people while petitioning who said they voted for Loretta but couldn't vote for Barr).

lpa ec list:

Looks good. Do you have any shorter/more accessible versions of your writings on corporate liberalism useful for handouts, opeds, flyers, letters to the editor, and other mass appeal purposes?

Perhaps something things along those lines can be done with the history of your region, for example the voting rights/civil rights struggle in Selma and Montgomery. It even ties in to our own struggle for voting rights today. Or how about Tuskegee experiments? Many more things, too, I'm sure...

Re (1) -- thanks!

Re (2) -- I think it all started one time when I wrote "If such-and-such, I'll eat my conical hat" -- the point being that my hat was either a wizard's hat or a dunce's cap, leaving it to my readers to decide which. Then I started giving conical hat tips because just plain old hat tips were too cliched.

Roderick,

Two comments completely unrelated to this post:

I recently listened to your lecture about the cosmopolitan arguments for imperialism, at Mises.org, and it was excellent from beginning to end.

I've tried to figure it out and I've tried to look it up, but I have failed. What do your references to conical hats mean? Why conical hat tips and not regular hat tips?

I was considering emailing you last night about a rerun of the Simpsons: Doctor Hibbert says "why are people here so stupid? Maybe I should just move back to Alabama!"
