I guess this counts as a Booster Gold spoiler (if anyone cares about Booster Gold spoilers), so I’ll bury it in the comments section.

In the latest issue (#20), a time-travelling Booster inadvertently prevents the origin of the Fantastic Four.
Of course they’re not explicitly identified as the Fantastic Four (different companies and all that), but the Johnny Storm character says “This really burns me up,” and the Ben Grimm character says “And there’s not a thing we can do about it.”
Actually, given something Rip says toward the end, it’s more “delays” than “prevents.”
It’s only a matter of time before Superman manages to punch his way into Marvel Comics.
Is that an image of Booster firing a machine gun in front of the Soviet flag? What comic is that from?

Yes.
What comic is that from?
Booster Gold #20. (You can also mouse over the image, browser permitting.)
I like Booster Gold. Short of Anarky. Booster and Blue Beetle (and 3 of them) are my favorites.
I just wish they wouldn’t always portray Booster as an impish jerk. Rescuing somebody for ad revenue is a noble entrepreneurial idea.
Tracy
Well, he doesn’t do it for ad revenue any more.
The portrayal of Booster as immature is what makes him so great. Not because of the immaturity per se, but because it makes the moments when he really comes through all the more enjoyable. I feel the same way about Beetle and Guy Gardner: Their childish demeanor is the price we pay for their occasional, honest heroism and seriousness. And I’d rather have that, and have it be something believable and special, than get the same, repetitive perfection from Superman or Hal Jordan.
Perfection from Hal Jordan? Well, if you ignore a) his political cluelessness during the Green Lantern/Green Arrow era; b) his self-indulgent, evasive aimlessness during the The Road Back era; and c) his mass-murdering egomania during the Parallax era.
