Well, if we’re splitting hairs, the shocking revelation is really that a bunch of people who are talking about Rothbard haven’t been informed of his passing.
No, this doesn’t imply Murray is still alive. Note that Lew says he was called, not that he was, the state’s greatest living enemy. The phrase in quotes is best taken as a name. His second sentence should be read as elliptical for “He remains so named.”
Ah, but who still so names him?
